IIF Chair Kiumars Hashemi, appointed Amir Ghalenoei, the coach of IPL Champion Esteghlal as the manager of Iranian national team on July 17, 2006.
Branko Ivankovic has been reappointed as the Iranian national team manager. He signed a one-year contract with the IFF on October 3, 2003. Homayoun Shahrokhi will stay on with the IFF as the technical director.
Miroslav Blazevic was appointed the manager of Iranian national team in January of 2001. He signed a one year contract with the Iranian Football Federation. The contract could be extended if Iran qualifies for the 2002 World Cup Finals.
