Research Project: The attitudes of female Iranian immigrants toward professional psychological helpMy name is Shirin Khanideh and I am a graduate student in psychology. At this moment I am in the process of conducting a quantitative research for my doctoral project. I need to recruit about 300 subjects. It takes about 10 to 15 min. and all multiple choice questions. Also if you get tired and close it you can come back to the last question that you answered. There are very few Iranian professionals in the field of Psychology, thus very limited body knowledge of Iranian immigrants in the United States. Your contribution will result in further acknowledgment and recognition of this invisible minority group. You qualify for participation if:You are a female You are between the ages of eighteen (18) to thirty (30) years old You are enrolled in a college or university You were born in Iran and now live in the United States. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any point without penalty. As part of your participation you will be asked to fill out a background questionnaire and two (2) brief instruments that will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The data gathered from the research is confidential and will be used for research purposes only. Identifying information of participants will not be used as surveys are anonymous.
